Children Pre-K to Eighth Grade

Our Sunday School program includes instruction for children in grades pre-K through 8th.   Sunday School classes are held during the Traditional Service of Worship at 10:30 a.m.   Our curriculum based on a "Rotation" model, where children visit different stations like StoryTelling, Arts & Crafts, Music, and Godly Games.  First Communion instruction is given to children in grade 3 and up.  Confirmation classes are held each year for those students in grade 9 and up.  Childcare for infants is provided in our nursery during the Sunday service.   Please come meet our staff and Sunday School teachers when you visit.

Any help you can provide will go a long way in the spiritual growth of our youngsters -- need we say more?

 

See Liz Little or Pam Mosesian and tell them you have some time to spare for our children & youth.

We are excited to see your children for another year of Sunday School. Our curriculum, called Seasons of the Spirit, is a lectionary-based so your children will be learning about the same readings you'll hear during worship. Now you’re on the hook to discuss the lessons on your way home from church!

 Youth Service Opportunity Minimize
A YOUTH TRIP TO SERVE IN NYC

A Different Christian Voice, the new UCC church in Middleton, is hosting a joint learn & serve trip to NYC for high school students during the public school vacation in February.  Our aim is to bring high schoolers together from some of our local churches, especially those smaller congregations that don't have a large youth group.  See the flyer in this Messenger.

Sunday October 23, after church

CONFIRMATION CLASS BEGINS

All young people in grades 9 - 12 are invited, encouraged even, to join the confirmation class of 2011-2012. Register with the office central.church@verizon.net or speak to Pastor Chris.

MENTORS NEEDED FOR CONFIRMATION STUDENTS

Confirmation classes will begin October 23. As we have done in the past, each student will have an adult mentor. Please speak to Pastor Chris if you are interested in mentoring one of our teens.
