Our steeple is one of three pinnacles of spritual light over Newburyport every night.  In fog, rain and even snow, it's a beautiful sight and one all of us feel proud of.
     In order to help support the financial expenses of keeping the steeple lit (about $75 a week), we're again starting up our "Light the Steeple to Honor People" drive.   What a unique way to honor someone or an event that is very special to you... perhaps someone who has passed away or an anniversary, a birthday (even a child's!), a birth, a graduation, off to college or a new job, retirement, a Christmas gift that doesn't take up space.  You get the idea!
     For your financial donation (in any amount that you chose), the steeple will flow brightly over Newburyport for a full week.  The honoree will be recognized not only in the weekly Messenger, but also on a display plaque in our foyer.
     Your confidential donation may be dropped off in the main office any time.  (Remember even a small donation will help the cause)...the real meaning of this effort is to joyfully honor those we love and light a spiritual path to all.
