 Pledging Opportunities Minimize
It's Never Too Late to Pledge!
          The Collector has reported that there are several people who are regularly putting donations in the collection plate each Sunday that have not made a pledge. While it is not required, a pledge does help the trustees adjust the financial forecast of the church. Also a pledge triggers the collector to issue envelopes so that donations are properly recorded and you receive a report detailing your contributions for tax reporting purposes.
          If you haven't made a pledge and want to communicate your intention of giving for the remainder of 2010, Please contact a member of the Stewardship team.

 Electronic Payments... Launching Here at Central! Minimize
     We wanted to share the news that we will be testing a new system that will allow members to manage their pledges electronically.  The attached document describes the services from Vanco. We will be testing out the Web Hosting and Direct Debit/Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) features. We are not planning to allow for pledges to be paid via credit card at this time. We have decided to try this in response to feedback from some members who either prefer the convenience of making payments electronically directly from their bank account or are sensitive to the environmental impact and cost of printing envelopes and checks.   
   
     The traditional envelope system will still be utilized.
